Accommodation
The luxury Eco Gardener’s Hut sits within a private, well-established garden, next to an old woodland and stream. Its location offers peace and tranquillity, albeit a short walk into Corfe Castle.
The large hut is spacious well-lit and sleeps two people, plus a dog or small child (in the lounge or garden tent) with ample parking close by.
You approach the Gardener’s Hut off our main drive, through a small gate. Beyond the gate is a little winding path, surrounded by mature trees, luscious plants, a water feature, a lawn and a dining area with four chairs and a BBQ. In front of the hut is a large, decked area, there are two Adirondack loungers and a long three-seater bench to relax and enjoy the surroundings and bird song.
The handmade kitchen has a full-width worksurface. It has a Belfast sink with a window above, fridge/freezer, combi/microwave oven, two-ringed hob, toaster and kettle with the usual utensils; with lots of cupboards for storage above and below.
The breakfast bar has two stools and is beneath a window.
The seating area is spacious with light beaming from three windows and a glass door. There are two super comfy lounge chairs, a log-burning stove, with kindling and logs stored beneath, a Samsung Art TV, and Alexa; all the windows and doorway have luxury blackout blinds or curtains.
The bedroom is located beyond a curtained opening, you walk around a super comfy king-size bed, with two bedside cabinets with drawers. A luxury headboard with reading lights bedside. A bookshelf and a double window looking onto the garden, We provide a luxury duvet, four pillows and linens, luxury throws, cushions and slippers. There is also storage under the bed and a pullout drawer at the end of the bed. Handmade hooks and hangers for coats etc.
The ensuite bathroom has a large walk-in shower, sink and flushing toilet, towel rail, shaver socket, x5 illuminated shaver mirror, adequate shelves and pegs. We provide luxury towels, dressing gowns, handwash and hand cream, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Eco-heating and water are provided by an energy-efficient air source heat pump, which uses energy supplied by our solar panels. This provides adequate heat for the three radiators and plenty of hot water. This eco hut is thermally insulated, providing a cool environment during the summer which is warm and cosy in the winter. We also have the latest sewage treatment plant.
All windows are double-glazed and fitted with mosquito blinds, with the exception of the glazed door.
We are dog and child friendly and the location is non-smoking.
Challow Farmhouse - Accommodation
2023 marked a change in our hospitality offering at Challow Farmhouse. We decided to be more flexible, more diverse, and therefore appeal to a wider audience. Our hospitality now comprises of three different types of accommodation, allowing us to offer better facilities for families and pets.
Breakfasts
We offer a choice of home-made breakfast, delivered to your door. You can self-cater, or visit our local villages in, or near, Corfe Castle.
The Coach House
This accommodation is located principally on the first floor; a studio living space with a super-king or twin bedroom with an ensuite shower, lounge area, TV and log-effect electric fire. Together with the kitchen and a dining area there is an outside balcony with table and chairs, also your own private garden with lounge seating and BBQ.
The Woodlander's Hut
Our luxury eco-hut is situated in its own private woodland garden. It has a galley kitchen, dining table and chairs, a lounge area (with a wood burning stove), a walkaround king-size bed with ensuite shower, outside loungers in a tea hut and an outside dining area with BBQ.
