Challow Farmhouse lies at the foot of Challow Hill on the outskirts of Corfe Castle nestling in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck. Its location is ideal for access to the Jurassic coast and coastal paths and for exploring the local area; including Studland, Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Local visitor attractions include: The Tank Museum, Tyneham Village, Brownsea Island, RSPB Nature reserve at Arne, Farmer Palmer's Farm Park, Durlston Country Park and Lulworth Castle.
The Farmhouse, which is located next to the Purbeck Way and within three miles of the coast, offers many great walks. The centre of Corfe Castle has a number of local shops together with three local pubs, one restaurant/bistro, two hotels (all serving evening meals) and the choice of two tea rooms. The Castle is open throughout the year and the Swanage Steam Railway, from Corfe Castle station, provides a regular service to Swanage.
Sailing, windsurfing, diving and fishing are just some of the activities available locally and all links are listed in our menu of things to do.
